Seen!

No particular theme today, but here are a few interesting shots from the last week or so.

  1. That purple and white 727 belongs to Monfort Aviation, and is the Colorado Rockies charter a/c. Ex-Branif, ex-Continental.

  2. How common is the 747-8F at LAX? In this posting, we see Cathay and Nippon Cargo. I think I have seen a Cargolux on your pics.
That only leaves Atlas Air, and Volga-Dnepr, I think.

    1. Besides Cargolux, Cathay Pacific, and Nippon Cargo, we also get Korean B747-8Fs. Haven't seen any from either of those other operators here yet. The only passenger B747-8Is at LAX so far are from Lufthansa.

    2. I didn't know that Korean also had 747-8Fs. Learn something new everyday. Another operator is 'Global Supply Systems' based in London Stansted (STN). Three 747-8Fs sourced from Atlas Air comprise their entire fleet. They appear in the British Airways 'Speedbird-Union Jack' livery. Other Atlas Air 747-8Fs are painted in Polar Air, and in Etihad colours.
Saudi Arabian is another operator with two.
