Has the A380 gone too far East on E? Also of note the A320, A330, A340, and A380 are all pictured.

ReplyDeleteThe A380 has taxied past V and missed the turn to 24L. This is a similar WWWTP from May 2013. Are you testing our ability to remember Captain Vector? or it is more likely that I am missing the anomaly.

The A380 is heading towards Runway 24R, which is over 1,000 feet shorter, instead of Runway 24L.
ReplyDeleteYet another A380 taxied past the entry point for runway 24 Right. I seem to recall a previous winner of the tug of shame was Singapore Airlines. Are there any others?
ReplyDeleteAnd can other large aircraft, like the 747-8, 777-300ER and A340-600 take Echo 7 with no problems?
I didn't know Jetblue flew to LAX ( except when their nose strut goes out of whack). Their main station in South California was Long Beach ( LGB ) and other flights at BUR.
When did Hawaiian change to the A330? On second tought, since Hawaiian operates out of T2, it will shortly be featured in your series of all the airport's carriers.

ReplyDeleteI presume that Emirates is doing/about to do something wrong...Not sure on this one. I don't think they have been flying this aircraft type into LAX very long.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Emirates is pass the A380 rated section of the taxiway. Probably not the first and not the last.
ReplyDeleteIt's either something to do with the Emirates A380...or it's the Virgin Atlantic A340....ummm
ReplyDeleteThe A380 is past the turn for 24L at D7 and can't use E7 to turn around. He's gotta be pushed back.
