  6. Emirates and V Australia are -300s, while American is a -200. As far as I know, American only has -200s, while V Australia only has -300s; Emirates has both and brings both into LAX. I don't believe any US carrier operates -300s (yet, anyway).

    Spotter's tip: The -200 has four (4) doors on each side: two before the wing, and two aft of it. The -300 has those doors plus an overwing exit, for a total of five (5) on each side. Simplified: If the B777 you're looking at has an overwing exit, then it's a -300.
