    I think 'range' also plays a role in the choice of aircraft ;-)
    According to gcmap.com LAX-AUH is 7291 nm...
    Hmmm...
    On the other hand, could this be one of the overweight early-build models?

      According to Planespotters.net, this aircraft is line number 141, so I'm guessing it's not one of the first-builds. It is, however, the first VIP Dreamliner.
