Is volaris.com written on the bottom of the fuselage? It looks like there is writing on the aft luggage compartment door that would face down when it's closed.
You're warm, but not quite. There is at least one carrier I know of (Emirates) that does have their name painted on the belly of the aircraft. I learned this when we had to send one of theirs around and it overflew the airport. Unlike most people, we don't usually get to see the belly of the airplane.
Yes! Yes, it does. Which makes perfect sense, but it hadn't occurred to me until I saw what was clearly once a front baggage door in the aft position. Now if I can just find an old photo to prove it!
Sorry, can't help. My only shot is of the left side (from Imperial Hill). BTW, did you make the big memorabilia convention at the Sheraton Thurs-Sat? Perhaps you noticed an increase of people on the Theme Bldg on Saturday, if you were working.
I didn't attend the show, but there were some freind-of-a-friend controllers from out of town there. They stopped by the tower on their way out and resisted all attempts at recruitment!
You are the king of 'Vague'.......lol....ok....right off the bat.......your learned......that if you take off your glasses and stand on your head.....the livery is clear as a bell.....??!!

DeleteVolaris' tail designs give you vertigo? They do me.
ReplyDeleteNot vertigo, but I do wonder what the picture was before they pixelated it!
DeleteIt appears as though the forward and aft cargo doors are interchangeable...

ReplyDeleteIt'll take more than that -- I've tried it!
DeleteVolaris needs an update about their logo's resolution
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think it is?
Deleteforward and aft cargo doors are interchangeable on an a320 because the "O" on the aft door was painted on the front of another aircraft
ReplyDeleteYup! And this is probably why their planes now have the names painted above the baggage door, instead of across it.
DeleteSharklets on A320?
ReplyDeleteNew winglets on A320 series. I noticed this on a Spirit A320 out of FLL a couple of weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteA320 with sharklets?
ReplyDeleteMust be the first Volaris Airbus with sharklets.
ReplyDeleteVolaris A320 with sharklets.
