It's time for everyone's favorite type of post, wherein I show you a photo with something odd taking place. Today's edition is thanks to eagle-eyed CG, who caught this a few days ago on my day off.
So, What's wrong with this picture?
P.S. - The answers to the as-yet unanswered W3TP posts are still coming, but some of the guesses you guys are sending in are better than the actual thing!
In this case, I have no clue. I guess most of the "What's Wrong" pix are finally resolved, bit I have no clue about WHERE the final answer is posted - and I've never seen one. If you eventually publish the 'right' answer, I'd sure like to know where that happens. Even a hint would be appreciated. Thanks.
The answers appear in a subsequent post, although I'll admit it's not always the one immediately after the "What's Wrong" post. I'll have to think about how to make them easier to find, sorry. As I write this, I'm pretty sure that all the "WWWTP" posts have answers with the exception of the one with the two Volaris acft, which I keep getting distracted from completing.
SIA overshot the turn to 24L. I would imagine D7, E7, and D east of D8 are rarely used (not capable?) of A388 ops so this presents a bit of a predicament.
Looks like Singapore's accidentally passed taxiway V, as I highly doubt they're headed to terminal 1.
ReplyDeleteLooks like SIA over shot the turn in for the runway?

DeleteDammit.......you don't make this easy...don't you have a 'Whats wrong with this picture' for 'DUMMBIES'.......HA HA.......Mmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteOkay, here's a hint: Look at the type of aircraft, and where it is.
DeleteLooks like the A380 missed the left turn onto Victor for 24L.
ReplyDeleteGone past the holding point?
ReplyDeleteThe A380 missed the turn to the active runway.
ReplyDeleteIs Southwest allowed to taxi on Delta with the "Super" on Echo?
ReplyDeleteDid SQ miss their turn off to the departure runway?
ReplyDeleteIt would appear that A380 has missed its turn for 24L. The angle makes it look like there might be a spacing issue with that 737, too.
ReplyDeleteHe missed the turn on Victor to take off 24L. The next left will take him to 24R. A380's are probably too big to take the next left.
ReplyDeleteOther aircraft are not supposed to be on adjacent taxiway when an A380 is taxiing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the 380 is too far past V. 180 @ the pad?
ReplyDeleteI would love to see an A380 make a 180 on the pad!

Did the A380 taxi too far?
